Prayers Needed ~ Lil Chris Baker x Travis Barker x DJ AM
If you have not heard the news Travis Barker and DJ AM were critically burned after their plane crashed last night. Lil Chris (Travis’assistant) did not survive. Please say a prayer for all involved.

Former Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and singer-song artist Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein were in critical condition with extensive burns Saturday after a jet crash the night before that killed four people, authorities said.

The NTSB has sent a Go Team to Columbia, South Carolina, to investigate the crash.
The Learjet 60 crashed on takeoff at the Columbia Metropolitan Airport at 11:53 p.m. Friday.
Beth Frits, spokeswoman at the Joseph Still Burn Center, in Augusta, Georgia, said Barker and Goldstein arrived at the hospital early Saturday. She said both men had “extensive burns.”
Barker and Goldstein had played at a huge free outdoor concert in Columbia’s Five Points district on Saturday night, CNN affiliate WIS-TV said.
Other acts at the concert included Perry Farrell, former of Jane’s Addiction, and singer Gavin DeGraw, Columbia Mayor Bob Coble told The Associated Press.
Representatives for Farrell and DeGraw told AP they were not on the plane.
Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Kathleen Bergen said the twin-engine, private jet was cleared for takeoff on a flight to Van Nuys, California, and began its takeoff roll a few minutes before midnight.
Air traffic controllers “saw sparks coming from the runway — whether that was from the aircraft or its engines, we don’t know,” Bergen said Saturday.
The jet left the ground but crashed near the end of the runway on a road adjacent to the airport, she said.
There were no other aircraft on the runway and no vehicles on the road, Bergen said.
William Owens told WIS-TV he was driving down Highway 302 when he said he saw a fireball go across the road.
“I didn’t know what I had seen — it was maybe 800 feet in front of me, but as I approached it closer though, I made out a fire. By then I was able to see the tail of the jet and I recognized it as a jet,” Owens said.
Owens told the station he tried to get to the wreckage.
“It’s in flames and the fuel is running across the road and I had to cross the fuel to get to the two guys that seemed to have been dumped on the highway,” Owens said.
Owens told WIS-TV the two men were running around and pulling off clothing to put out the flames. He said he asked them if anyone else was on board the plane and they said four people were with them.
“We turned to the jet to try and see if there was anything we could do, but immediately, there was nothing anyone could do,” Owens said.
The Five Points Association has released a statement saying that they are “deeply saddened by this event and our thoughts and prayers go out to the victim’s and their families,” WIS reported.
Officials told the station the airport will be closed until noon.
Oh, all of sudden….everyone wants to pray. I hope all of this “bro/rocker” crowd, wakes up and realizes that you are not exempt from death. Mister Barker is an upstanding citizen of the United States and he… HE has made it in this world, in this land of opportunity, but at the price of being irresponsible? He is a family man, first and foremost and he loves his children more than anything in the world.

My prayers are with these two men and especially with the families that lost loved ones. I recently lost my child to a fire and I am glad she didn’t suffer as these men will with their fight to make it through all of the pain and suffering.

wow…right down the coast…definitely a huge hit for the music and clothing community! I definitely wish trav a quick recovery although that road will be a long one! As well as condolences for DJ AM’s family..
Ok it is sad to hear what happen to both of them, but for the record, I dont think that traivs is cute at all… I would take DJAM over travis any day, is Chris Barker travis brother or cuz’s……… does anyone know, it is sad to learn he died…..

I heard of the yesterday, very unfortunate. I hope for a speedy recovery for both.
This is such a tragedy…I met “Lil Chris” Baker through my sister Terry. Chris lived across the street from her house in Fontana, Ca. before moving out to Studio City and working with Travis. He was the nicest person anyone could ever meet. From the moment I met him, I liked him. He was always there for my sister and her 3 adopted boys. Since my sister was a single mom, Chris was like the “big brother” always lecturing and mentoring the boys. My sister is devasted and so are her boys. They would so much like to attend his services; so if anyone knows when and where, we would appreciate the info. I also would like to send my condolences to his wife and child, as well as his mother and rest of his family and friends.

This is a tragedy. Travis Barker is talented and he is someones child and father. Dj Am is talented as well and he is someones child. To wish pain, suffering, and death to people that you don’t even know is a disgraceful act! God loves them and would never wish harm on any of his children!
My prayers are with the families of those who lost their lives in our state of South Carolina and with the families who still have many trials to endure as their loved ones go through the healing process!
i feel really sorry for that crazy man with such hard words but none the less i wish those two men the best of luck and a quick road to recovery…and for the four lost in the crash may god be with you… your in a better place…. god bless
