Solitos Car Club had a show today in Norwalk. The show was in a shopping center so there was plenty of room for show participants, atendees and vendors alike. The show had a good vibe to it which is very important to me. Talked to lots of great people and I have come to the conclusion that I must have business cards made! This show and the Old Memories show yesterday will be featured in a future issue of Lowrider Magazine. Now for some pics.
Gotta love a wagon! This one is cleannnnn!

Adam, Danny Jr. and Together Car Club were on hand. This is Adam’s ride.

Frank from Groupe ELA brought out a couple of his Caddies.

DJ Mike The Cholo DJ was on hand keeping the show attendees entertained!

Pee Wee was at the show!

Gotta love the color & how this Cadillac lays.

This is my neighbor Sal’s bomb. He’s a member of Bridge Town Oldies.

Old Memories SGV chapter held a car show today at Downey High School. I spent a couple of hours snapping pics & talking to folks. The turnout was great, the weather was perfect. Great talking with everyone today. The show season is hitting full swing. I’ll be out at the Solitos show tomorrow.
These guys were in town from Japan. The lowrider culture in Japan is crazy! They are hardcore!

So I’m leaving Staples on Figueroa in Downtown Los Angeles this morning and I see a group of motorcycle cops with lights on coming my way. As they get closer I notice they are escorting a group of cars. There must have been about 20 cars in the procession. This wasn’t a funeral it was a line of…
The Audi R8!

From what I understand they are limited here in the US and there is a waiting list. I didn’t have a camera with me so I had to borrow a photo from Audi USA. It appears they were filming for something cause there was a camera van and two helecopters overhead. They went all the way up Figueroa and I kept trying to get a closer look but the police escorts kept all the other cars away. I lost them when I got caught at a red light. Beautiful sight of a beautiful car! Only in LA…

Coming out of Toronto Canada, Puro Cervantes has always been drawing or creating some type of art for himself or for many of his clients. He is now in the process of launching Lowrider Supreme Clothing. I’ve seen some of the designs and not only are they fresh but each and every one is created by Puro. I’ll give you a sneak peak of a design but you’ll have to see the rest in a future issue of Lowrider Girls magazine.

Puro was the sculptor on these licensed Mopar products for Bent Rod Garage. Look for those to be released soon as well. Pretty sick huh! Remember the name! You’ll be hearing more about Puro!

Known throughout most of Asia Super Autobacs is a car lovers dream. Thousands & thousands of feet full of aftermarket parts for vehicles fills these stores. They also do services on cars as well. About 5 years ago Super Autobacs opened in Stanton California. Today they opened their second US location in Covina California. Looking at the map I believe it is located where the Home Depot used to be on Azusa & Arrow Highway. This location just happened to be down the street from my friend JDM Jay who is the king of anything and everything JDM. His blog is in my blogroll. Hopefully, he’ll visit the store and post some photos on his blog.
